The original photo for this haiku was removed by the web designer, so I am substituting one that I found on Flickr, with an appropriate link to the photographer's page.
I LOVE this one... reminds me of our koi pond we had up until three years ago. I miss our little koi pond... grieved for it like a lost pet for nearly a year. I love the photo, too.
Welcome to my world of poetry. Here I share my innermost thoughts that are often hidden from outsiders. Always a romantic at heart, I prefer to see the world through rose-colouredglasses. You will find my views on romance, my inspirational thoughts, and also discover my humorous side. I have been writing in various poetry groups, and have been published for many years. Comments are very much appreciated.
I am now a 69 year old married lady, exploring the fabulous side of "Life after Fifty". I have two daughters, and two grandsons. I dabble in romantic poetry, photo haiku, and photographing nature. Loves all animals, but has a soft spot for cats. I always treat my friends to homemade muffins, coffee or tea. I was a journal writer on AOL for 3 years, until they closed their doors October 31, 2008. Now I am making a new home on Blogger. Welcome to all my friends, new and old!

So many fish swim,
Through dark polluted water,
We should light the way.
