Black Suede Night
The golden rays
shimmer at twilight
When waters romance
cool silvery nights
Soft like butter
which spreads across
Starry black caverns
sueded in moss
Hush of desire
leads this heart
Upon secret journey
toward hallowed stars
A breathless whisper
catches your hues
With lingering rainfall
that’s magically blue
Waves silently beckon
an urgent escape
As breezes encounter
dark windowless space
Taking no chances
on willowy strings
Our sudden departure
rides glittering wings
Music is everywhere
lover’s dreams - sigh
Forsaking all Heaven
to unforgettable eyes
Such powerful mystery
you always possess
Leaves invisible footprints
inside my crevasse

A powerful poem that took me to a moonless night where I could see further in the dark...
all the way to the stars.
Beautiful images here, Rose.
